Used carbon bikes trade at a significant discount to their retail value because there is no easy way to verify structural integrity. A crash or impact can leave a frame looking intact while compromising its laminate. Buyers avoid the category; sellers leave money on the table.
Most inspection specialists are out of state and ship-in only. Presidio Composites is an independent, Bay Area-based service producing standardized inspection reports: the same documented opinion a home inspector provides before a purchase.

Every report is written by a trained inspector. Turnaround is 2 business days for online, same-day for in-person.

A private link is emailed to you. Optionally make it public and share in your marketplace listing.
